This spring, the first public garden, Sporta Pils Dārzi, will open in Riga, Latvia, a place where city residents can grow their own vegetables, greens and flowers. KRONUS was very happy to support the project by donating 1,500 Garden Boxes, 260 Herbs Boxes, 30 Modern Box flower beds and pallets for the site’s landscaping
Garden Box, which has already become a classic, is a pallet board gardening solution made from a pallet collar. The Herb Box is a narrower and more compact version of the Garden Box.
Sporta Pils Dārzi is a public garden project in Riga. Its creators believe that in the next three years, this previously abandoned site in the city center will be transformed into allotment gardens and flowering lawns, becoming a popular venue for cultural and educational events in the city. Anyone can apply for one of the 150 allotments, although those who helped to clear the terrain were given the first opportunity to reserve one.
